Our Story
My name is Alice Aherne, and I am the proud owner of Murphy’s Dog Grooming Ltd.
I was brought up in Cheltenham and have a love for all animals especially dogs, cats, and horses all of which I have grown up with. My new shop is named after Murphy who is our family’s oldest dog a lovably Golden retriever.
I worked as a Hairstylist in Cheltenham for 10 years before heading off to travel to Australia where I spent the most fabulous 4 years of my life. It was there that I decided on a change of career, and this was to become a professional fully trained dog groomer. Since training and prior to setting up my own business I have been working in practice where I have gained a vast experience grooming and looking after the widest range of breeds.
Our Salon
My salon is located at Sixways, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham and it will be my absolute priority to provide a safe one to one, calm and relaxing environment for your dog. The salon is fully equipped with the most up-to-date equipment and we will pride ourselves in being able to offer the highest of standards for hygiene and health, and safety.
